O cAP ac é um ponto de acesso sem fio muito capaz e poderoso que fica bonito em paredes e tetos. O rádio sem fio de banda dupla concorrente suporta corrente dupla de 2 GHz 802.11b/g/n e padrões de 5 GHz em a/n/a, e fornecerá cobertura em 360 graus ao redor. Embora o rádio suporte o modo repetidor, as duas portas Ethernet oferecem a capacidade de estender sua rede com cabos, mesmo se a energia PoE for necessária, já que o cAP ac suporta entrada PoE 802.3af/at na primeira porta e saída PoE passiva na segunda porta. A cAP ac-US (EUA) é bloqueada de fábrica para frequências de 2412-2462MHz, 5170-5250MHz e 5725-5835MHz. Este cadeado não pode ser removido.

For a budget style access point, the system is great in a home network as a stand alone system. No other router would be needed if this is the only item for wireless. The signal is consistent and worth the buy. Keep in mind using this device with anything other than a mikrotik based network would cause complications for the user.Realistically if you a home user that is looking for a cheap access point, and this would be the only device providing routing, this will work. Using this in conjunction with any commercial home based router will only cause complications for the user. Once set up, it is a tank.In an enterprise based network, the functionality is on par with the more expensive access points on the network. Like other mikrotik devices, advanced routing protocols are available for use (VLAN separation, OSPF, BGP, etc.) providing various solutions for a network need.

Ayant besoin de diffuser des réseaux WiFi et de relayer une connexion RJ45 Gigabit, ce produit est le seul dans la gamme Mikrotik à répondre à mes attentes. La couverture en 2.4 GHz est très bonne, je n’ai pas beaucoup de références pour juger de celle en 5 GHz. Globalement un très bon produit, à un prix intéressant. Déployé avec d’autres points d’accès et un routeur de la même marque, il bénéficie d’une gestion centralisée : le top.

Mikrotik products offer a full and rich feature set that allow you to do pretty much EVERYTHING, but be warned – the setup is necessarily non-trivial.Hardware is reliable. To be honest I only need to reboot the router when I upgrade the firmware. Power injector cable supplied.It does not come with an ethernet cable. This is reasonable as the product is a WiFi access point and the positioning of it would usually necessitate a long cable with a length dependent on customers situation.
