I recently was prescribed tretinoin for my acne and scars on my face and was pretty worried about how dry my face would get. Obviously it got dry, but I would say I was able to avoid the worst (cracking skin, major dryness or peeling) because I put this on every morning. That and sunscreen every morning. But for real. This cream is thick and doesn’t irritate my already sensitive skin. I find a lot of moisturizers can make my face sting or increase my redness and this does neither. I put it on and sometimes don’t add another moisturizer on top but sometimes I do add another one on top after this dries and it makes my skin so soft. I just ran out of this tube and already bought another one. It’s a must-have for dry, sensitive skin.

This is a thick moisturizer which is safe for sensitive and acne prone skin. I originally bought it when my face had random rashes that looked like bug bites. I read how soothing this was so tried it out and ended up keep using it even after the rashes were gone. I use tretinoin and recently increased the dosage so my skin started to peel and sensitive. I now use tretinoin every other day and use this daily and it’s improving my skin a lot! Although it’s so thick, it’s not oily and sometimes not too moisturizing so I have to mix with a bit of facial oil. This is also good underneath makeup if you put a little bit and make sure to rub it all the way into the skin before makeup. I just purchased my second tube!
