**Excellent Value 4K Gaming Monitor – Hard to Beat at This Price**The VG27UQ1A has been a pleasant surprise. Its price-to-performance ratio makes it an exceptional value. I picked it up for $280, and it’s surprisingly feature-rich for its price point.**Key features:*** 4K resolution – ✅* HDR support – ✅* 120Hz refresh rate – ✅Finding a monitor that checks *all three* boxes for under $300 is nearly impossible.Pros:* Impressive specs for the price* No dead or stuck pixels out of the box* Solid color accuracy* Multiple HDMI 2.1 ports – great for console and PC use* Ideal for multi-device setupsCons:* Built-in speakers are poor – comparable to a phone speaker (expected, but worth noting)* Slightly bulky; not the thinnest design, though bezels are reasonably slim* Stand is basic with limited ergonomics (not an issue if you’re using a monitor arm, like I am)Are there better monitors out there? Sure. But are there better gaming monitors with these features and specs under $300? That’s a much harder find.If you’re shopping on a mid-range budget, this monitor punches above its weight. You’re essentially getting upper mid-range performance at a lower mid-range price. If you DON’T need 240Hz refresh rate, then I’d highly recommend.

I’m gonna be generous here and give it a 4 out of 5!I bought this monitor to get the most out of the game that I play on my Ps5 Pro for graphics and performance and it did not disappoint as I was able to enable it’s 120hz output feature. I’ve been using TV (4k Samsung) to play my console games until now, this is my first gaming monitor, and there is definitely a very noticeable difference with how smooth everything moves and how crystal clear the picture quality is compared to my TV that is also 4k but stuck at 60Hz. So if you’re like me who’s transitioning from TV to a gaming monitor – for the first time – I think you’ll love this. If I was a pc gamer I’ll probably spot the flaws of this monitor but right now everything for me is perfect. However my monitor came with a manufacturing defect! I would’ve given it a 5 star but when I was assembling this monitor I noticed that the HDMI and USB ports that are located in the back of it are not aligned with their cutouts and I was lucky enough to be able to fit the PS5 HDMI cord (which is really the only thing that I needed) but the other ones I’m probably gonna have to figure something out like remove the metal covering or something because those are inaccessible.

I love the monitor. It’s a huge step up from 1080p and a good price. Can’t stomach spending the money for a OLED yet. The only issue I had is it showed up missing the DP and power cables so I was using ones I already had. Once I got through the headache of actually getting to chat with a live person customer service more than made things right by refunding a percentage of the price that was well above the cost of ordering new cables.

I lose lighting when setting my Nvidia driver above 97hz with the Asus 27 inch 4K monitor. The monitor is capable of 160 fps, but you get a washed out look. I have a Rtx 5070 ti. If image quality is your goal I recommend keeping it 97 fps or below.

Works well, but I got a dead pixel within a few months. Unfortunate, and very frustrating.
