Purchased and installed EAP225 on a gamble as had same features as more expensive competitors like Ubiquiti UAP range. I’ve mounted up and cabled to middle of the house and easily provides coverage throughout. Can walk out the street and still have great signal.Setup for a single AP just using WPA2 without controller was simple, find the IP assigned and just connect via web browser, couple of “next next next” steps and ready to go. The unit also supports TP Link’s controller software Omada which I am keen to have a play with down the track, always good for nerds to have these things to play with at home!Performance is great, no drop outs and much better than replaced very old unit that constantly needed rebooting and just had poor coverage. Got the “wife tick of approval”.Looks great mounted on ceiling. Mounting was simple as.

Purhcased two to improve the performance/coverage in my house. The dual band works great and have not had any issues.Currently at any point in time I’ll have 2 x 1080P security cameras, 1 x 4k security camera, thermostat, 2x smoke/co2 detectors, two ipads, two iphones. No bandwidth issues. As well taking the dual band off my router has noticebly helped with performance issues I had been noticing while physically connected.Only struggling a littler with AP isolation configuration. Some times my cameras in the front side of my house will flip to the AP near the backside, opposed to the AP that is on the front portion of the house.

Wir haben den Router als Access Point im Erdgeschoss eingerichtet und sind zufrieden: Die Einrichtung war unkompliziert und das WLAN läuft schnell und stabil – sowohl im 2,4 GHz- als auch im 5 GHz-Bereich. Besonders praktisch sind der integrierte Gastzugang und weitere Funktionen, die man sonst nur von teureren Geräten kennt.Mit Power over Ethernet (PoE) nutzbar, sofern passende Kabel vorhanden sind – alternativ kann der Router auch über die Steckdose betrieben werden. Der passende Adapter ist direkt im Lieferumfang enthalten.Fazit: Für kleines Geld bekommt man hier erstaunlich viel Router. Empfehlenswert für alle, die unkompliziert erweitern wollen.
